the ripple effect
Returning to teach both Yoga for Men classes after my summer break, I had a spring in my step. A healthy turnout for the 1st classes back, I reflected on the ripple effect of positivity that's shared around the school halls and beyond.

moving on up
I have been recording scores out of 10 for 2 years at my Yoga for Men classes since starting my partnership with Talk Club. This blog reflects on the positive impact of sharing scores as a reflection of how a man feels, not an assessment of my 'performance' as a yoga teacher.

cold calling
Following on from the January theme of 'habit stacking' for my Yoga for Men classes, I set myself a challenge of building a habit of taking cold showers. Beyond the initial shock to the system, it proved to be an effective way of getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, and stepping beyond my fears of how cold water on my skin would make me feel and learning new coping mechanisms.

power of choice
The power of choice is in our hands when we bring awareness to our thoughts and how we respond to them by saying positive affirmations out loud. This blog focuses on what I learnt from breath work coach, Stuart Sandeman when putting this technique into practice.
