It was great to be back teaching both Yoga for Men classes this week after taking a break for my Monday class over the summer. In the past I would’ve worried about some of the guys drifting away, but I know I can’t be there for them if I don’t put my own needs first.

I returned with a spring in my step ready to teach a new year style turnout. A decent number of newcomers (including an 80+ yo doing yoga for the first time!) thrown into the mix made for a positive first week back.

As I closed the classes, I reflected on how positive moving our body makes us feel. The difference it makes to me leading the group. How that positively impacts on the guys individually and collectively. The ripple effect this then has on those across their networks.

Yoga for Men classes continue on Monday and Thursday in Keynsham. This coming week we’ll be feeling alive doing dead bug variations and more yogi than grizzly in bear positions!

I would love for you to join us.
