There was so much to love about yesterday’s Breathpod workshop at Soul Studio London. Sharing the experience with my brother was right up there. I’d bought his ticket as a birthday present. Having never done any breath work before, least of all a 3-hour workshop, he wasn’t sure what he’d let himself in for. He thought it was some DJ on a stage talking about breathing, so freaked out when I said it would be practical, hands on, and that he would be getting amongst it. I don’t think it helped when I said I was nervous too!

And this is the thing - we were both facing up to our fears and limiting self beliefs, crossing an imaginary line that can so often hold us back. When we lay on our neighbouring mats following an infinity breathing practice, I felt as though we were back to being kids in our shared bedroom where some of our deepest held fears likely first originated. Using each breath cycle as an opportunity to believe that we can move beyond what may have shaped us, and that when we inevitably fall, building trust that someone will be there to catch us.

The power of the breath never ceases to amaze me. Sharing every connection in such a beautiful, safe and supportive space felt next level 😌

When’s the next one, Stu, Nova and team…?
